NEXT GENERATION RECEIVES EDGE AWARD

Lexington, OH — David A. Frecka, CEO of Next Generation, was recently honored with a "Leading Edge" Award from Entrepreneurs EDGE. The award was presented in May at the University of Akron and recognized David and Next Generation as one of the most value-added companies in Northeast Ohio.

The Entrepreneurs EDGE is a not-for-profit organization that helps middle market companies grow the value of their companies. The EDGE has developed a unique metric that will enable the region to measure and track companies throughout Northeast Ohio that are creating the most value for themselves as well as the community. Many factors are evaluated regarding the companies that win this award, such as compensation for employees working in Northeast Ohio, spending with local vendors, time and money given back to the community philanthropically, and how many innovations created in the past three years that are contributing to the company's revenue.

This prestigious award is from unbiased grantors with strong civic backing. The EDGE, in conjunction with 11 regional universities, 7 regional chambers/economic development organizations and 10 professional service firms seek nominations of well run companies. Qualifying companies have sales revenues of up to $500 million and sell some of their goods or services outside the region.
